I followed a tutorial for InDesign that gave an explanation, and step-by-step instructions to creating the magazine cover below. By completing the tutorial I learned the fundamental features of InDesign and how they can be used together to create a magazine cover. I learned how to use and modify both text and graphic boxes.

This tutorial combined both Photoshop and InDesign and detailed exactly how to manipulate an image before using it in InDesign. I learned how to use the pen tool to create a selection that could be used to cut out an image.
